“A” is for Adamski is your ultimate resource guide to the early UFO contactees and their encounters with such interplanetary ambassadors as Orthon, Ashtar, and Captain Aura Rhanes.

Starting alphabetically with George Adamski, and ending with George Hunt Williamson, “A” is for Adamski features not only the more well known UFO contactees, but also some of the lesser known, though equally fascinating figures, whose earthly paths intersected with blonde Venusian bombshells, and those mysterious men from Mars.

Includes hundreds of photos, some seen for the very first time!

A is for Adamski is a roller coaster ride through an amusement park of adventurous lives and a gritty graveyard of accomplished weirdos. This wunderkind collection of the obscure, the ordinary, and the out-of-this-world gallery of ufologists, forteans, and discordians is a must for your library! Brilliant and fun to read!” ~Loren Coleman, author of Mysterious America, Curious Encounters, and dozens of other books.

“Adam Gorightly and Greg Bishop are two of our spunkiest historians of the fringe. Here they dig through the excluded middle of the twentieth century to honor and remember the kooky, fascinating, and sometimes altogether ordinary folks who sparked the modern mystic folklore of alien contact.” ~Erik Davis, host of the Expanding Mind podcast

A is for Adamski fills a valuable service in compiling the key personalities and backgrounds that created and propelled the UFO phenomena.” ~Douglas Curran, author of In Advance of the Landing: Folk Concepts of Outer Space.

“Bishop and Gorightly have created the go-to resource for those interested in the UFO contact phenomenon. A is for Adamski should be every researcher’s first stop on their journey of discovery.” ~ Aaron John Gulyas, author of  Extraterrestrials and the American Zeitgeist: Alien Contact Tales Since the 1950s

A is for Adamski is the most comprehensive overview of the flying saucer contactee movement to date.   Brimming with original research and rare photos this book is a must for anyone with an interest in UFOs or UFO culture.” ~ Christopher D. 1. Far out! One question: why does the Amazon listing say “black and white” version? Is there a color version coming soon? This will be a gift to myself, so right now I can get $5 off, but I will hold out for technicolor, if it is landing in the near future.

  2. Hi Victoria,

Working on getting the color version out soon, but it will be rather pricey! The cheapest we’ll probably be able to sell it for is around 55 bucks.

  3. Thanks, Victoria. And post a review if you feel so inclined. Hail Eris!

  4. Our copy arrived a week ago, and currently my husband is reading it. (I am reading 3 other books at the moment). I have noticed that as soon as he opens the book, I hear laughter, which is a very good thing. I certainly will post my own review at Amazon and on Goodreads, once I get my chance.

  5. Great, Victoria! Give Jim my best.
